How to get from Abu Dhabi to Dubai
The two most popular cities to visit in the UAE are Dubai and Abu Dhabi. They are separated by 150 km, which can be overcome in different ways. A large number of flights arrive in Abu Dhabi, but it is impossible not to visit Dubai, as both cities have many interesting sights. Therefore, tourists are often interested in how best to get from one city to another.
Best ways to get from Abu Dhabi to Dubai:
The cheapest option is by public transport. From the Central Bus Station 1, Abu Dhabi, you need to take the E101 bus. The trip lasts about 2 hours depending on traffic and costs approximately 20 dirhams. The final destination is Ibn Battuta Metro Station.
The E100 bus also runs from the central station to the Ghubaiba Bus Station in Dubai.
The third bus E102 departs from Mussafah area in Abu Dhabi to Ibn Battuta Metro Station in Dubai. But it can also stop on demand at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
A big disadvantage of public transport is that the work schedule is limited in time and they do not run at night (usually from 05:00 am to 01:00 am, depending on the day and bus number). Therefore, if you arrive at night or plan a trip at a later time, then this option will not suit you.
The more expensive option is a taxi. In this case, you can get to Dubai at any time of the day or night with comfort, but the cost will be much higher. On average, prices range from 200 dirhams or more. You can find taxi drivers at the Abu Dhabi airport or arrange in advance with trusted taxi drivers through the chats in the telegram.
A free option is buses from Etihad, Emirates airlines. They will take their passengers from Abu Dhabi to Dubai or vice versa. You just need to clarify and book seats in advance through the website or with airline representatives. For boarding, you will need to present a ticket.
The most comfortable option is to rent a car in Abu Dhabi and get to Dubai on your own along a very convenient highway. This option is also preferable because you will be able to move around Dubai on your own without spending large sums on a taxi, because it is considered as very expensive.
The only point worth paying attention to is the presence of an International Driving License, without it you will not be able to rent a car. To get it you can contact the International Drivers Association, the only specialized organization where tourists can obtain International driving permits with registration in the Central Austrian IDP database.
You can choose any of the options above depending on your preferences and budget. The most important thing is to prepare in advance and enjoy your vacation!
